The Philippine Dragonboat Rowing Team, popularly known as PDRT Fireblades, is one of the premier dragonboat club teams in the Philippines today. We are comprised of competitive and recreational paddlers training to compete in local, national and international competitions.

PDRT Fireblades is a unique and mixed cast comprised of novice and experienced paddlers promoting the sport while encouraging physical fitness.

International:

Once again, PDRT FIREBLADES raced and won on the major categories on the recently concluded SAVA Sprints International VII 2011.

Our team defended it's title on the International Freestyle beating 3 other Filipino teams plus one foreign team from Dubai. Our mixed, womens and mens crew also performed and won several awards on the 2 day event of the said dragonboat race in Singapore.

Once again, we showed the power and strength of our paddlers in winning in various categories in the recently concluded SAVA Sprints International VI 2010.

GOLD - Freestyle category

Bronze - Men's Open

Silver - Women's Open (Minor Finals)

5th Placed  - Mixed (Grand Finals)

Local:

PDRT Fireblades won several awards in the recently concluded PCKF Dragonboat Sprints 2012. The said event was sponsored by Eng Bee Tin, TxtFire Brigade, CCP, Philippine Navy and Manila City Hall.

PDRT Fireblades won silver in Men's Open 5 Pairs, silver in Men's Open 10 Pairs, bronze in Mixed division. While our women's squad place 4th overall.

We bagged 3 GOLDS, 1 SILVER and 2 BRONZES  on the recently concluded Philippine National Games 2011 last May 22-24 held at Bantayan Park Bago River Bago City, Negros Occidental!

Our team defeated Philippine Navy and Boracay Guardians on various categories.

PDRT Fireblades has participated in numerous local and international competitions and has consistently been among the top teams to beat.

Through the years, both our men and women crews bagged several medals and trophies in various categories and events.
